We Can't Wait to Meet You

The admission process is designed to provide opportunities for your family to get to know us, and us to get to know you. Following submission of your application, your family will be invited to join us on the Grand House porch for a conversation and tour of campus. We can't wait to introduce you to our community!

How to Apply

Grandview Preparatory School enrolls students on a rolling basis and encourages families to begin the application process as early as possible, as space is limited. The application must be submitted with the $100 application fee before scheduling a shadow day.

APPLY NOW

We invite you to join us on the Grand House porch for a conversation and campus tour. Campus visits are available Monday-Friday by appointment.

Schedule Your Visit Here!

As part of the online application process, you will be asked to provide contact information for one recent teacher for K-5 applicants or two recent teachers for grades 6-11 to complete a recommendation. Additionally, you will need to provide contact information for your current school's registrar to request transcripts.

International applicants: In addition to the requirements listed above, international students must have their official transcripts evaluated through ECE and submit TOEFL scores.

Grandview Preparatory School requires applicants to submit scores from a nationally-normed, standardized test. This may be satisfied by the Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT) or by the Wide Range Achievement Test 4 (WRAT4).

The WRAT4  can be administered during a student shadow day.

We can’t wait to meet your child(ren)! As part of the admission process, all local students will be scheduled for an on-campus shadow experience, which offers a meaningful opportunity to get to know the Grandview community.

  • Students entering 1st grade and up will visit from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
  • Early Childhood and Kindergarten students will visit from 9:00 AM–11:15 AM

During their visit, students will attend classes, meet Grandview students and faculty, and participate in a short assessment and informal evaluation. This helps us better understand your child as a learner and ensure a strong start should they enroll.

For families who do not live locally, we will arrange a virtual visit to connect with your child. These visits are designed to be engaging and welcoming, giving students a chance to get excited about their potential future at Grandview. In some cases, an on-campus visit may be required by the Admission Committee.

To schedule your virtual visit or on-campus experience, please contact the Admission Office at 561.416.9737 ext. 1304 or by email at admission@grandviewprep.net.

Important Deadlines

May 15th | July 31st
For families applying with the intention of starting on the first day of school, the soft deadline for the application and receipt of all supporting materials is May 15th with a hard deadline of July 15th. Any applications received after these dates may not be reviewed by the admission committee prior to the start of school. Applications received after these dates, if unable to be reviewed prior, will be reviewed during the second week of school.

December 5th
For families applying with the intention of starting on the first day of the second semester, the deadline for the application and receipt of all supporting materials is December 5th. Any applications received after this date will be reviewed by the admission committee during the second week of January.

February 15th
Although Grandview enrolls students on a rolling basis, we are unable to welcome new students mid-year following February 15th. It is crucial that students have a seamless transition to the community and mid-year transfers, unless otherwise necessary due to a relocation, are not ideal.
